Selvage Sawtooth Stars: Finished Flimsy

Last time, I had all 12 of the blocks for the Selvage Sawtooth Stars quilt finished, and as many on the design wall as could fit.  Next came adding on the sashing and cornerstones.

Here, I was in the middle of that process:

It didn’t take too long to put together, and as I’m not adding any borders, this is now ready for quilting!

Here are a few quick photos I took immediately after finishing this flimsy:

With this quilt-top done, it feels like time to get back into quilting again before I delve into the next project.  At the same time, I’m already considering options for the next quilt—but they can wait for now.  Once I’ve gotten back into the groove of quilting, I’ll feel better about starting a new project or two.

And with that, I’m hitting “Publish”!  The most recent watercolor things haven’t all be photographed or scanned, but they can wait for another time.  (Maybe shorter and more frequent is better than longer and less often.)

Welcome!

I love to fill my spare time with various crafts and other hobbies, and this blog is where I share photos, record my progress, and ramble endlessly.
