3 Materials Challenge: Day 7
I felt pushed for time on this one. I just left it too late… I used the photo of Frodo from a recent blog entry—the one where he’s looking up at the camera from the floor, over his back. I like the photo, but less so my rendering of it… But oh well, they can’t all be winners. (Maybe none of them can!)
The three materials I used today are a Bic Intensity marker (adobe orange), a Kalour color pencil (peach, C022), and a Crayola crayon (brick red). I just chose three colors I thought would be okay together for a warmer palette, but in hindsight, the brick red (as I used it) wasn’t the best choice. It makes the whole thing look like a crime scene!
At least Frodo won’t be insulted. That’s the good thing about drawing dogs (or random strangers who will never see your botched efforts).
