Inktober: Skeletal & Lesson

Catching up after not posting yesterday…

Inktober Day 28: "Skeletal"

Not much to say about this one… Just Lexington Gray ink and some watered down “whatever was on the palette”.

Inktober Day 29: "Lesson"

The doodle from a few days ago (for the “onion” prompt) would’ve been perfect for this prompt, too!

I had to think up another type of dog-themed lesson:

The “puppy-dog eyes” aren’t everything they ought to be, but at least I tried!

Doodled in Lexington Gray ink with washes of watered-down gouache already in progress on the palette.

Pumpkins Painted

Last time, I shared a picture of a page of doodled pumpkins.  Today, I have the painted page.

It was fun to try out different techniques to produce varying effects.  I know not everyone likes “cauliflowers” (or blooms or back runs) in watercolor, but I think they can be very pretty, under the right circumstances.

That’s all for now!

Welcome!

I’m Michael (a female Michael, to remove any doubt).  I live on the Alabama Gulf Coast with my husband, Donald, and our crazy American Eskimo Dogs.

I love to fill my spare time with various crafts and other hobbies, and this blog is where I share photos, record my progress, and ramble endlessly.
