Inktober: Shredded

Inktober Day 12: "Shredded"

Today’s prompt gave this naughty dog the go-ahead to enter destruction mode.  ;o)

Poor teddy bear… Maybe the doll hospital can work some magic on him.

Back to the Other Potted Plants

This is the Lexington Gray ink over the page of potted plant doodles from a few posts back.

Not sure if you’ll see any difference, but this was done with a regular (non-fude) EF nib fountain pen.  The pink and brown doodles I’ve been doing lately have all been done with a fude nib, which should create a line that’s less uniform in thickness—or at least it’s much easier to create a mix of thick and thin lines with one pen.

Starting Some Owls

I wanted to use up some paint already on the palette, and the first thing that came to mind was owls—so I freehand painted some vaguely owlish shapes in pinks and purples.

I’ll probably doodle over them with ink in the next day or two.

Welcome!

I’m Michael (a female Michael, to remove any doubt).  I live on the Alabama Gulf Coast with my husband, Donald, and our crazy American Eskimo Dogs.

I love to fill my spare time with various crafts and other hobbies, and this blog is where I share photos, record my progress, and ramble endlessly.
