Artober 26th

I left this until late (by my standards) tonight, when I didn’t have much time left to “do something”, give Pippin his evening indoor play session, eat my late snack, and whip up a last-minute blog post.  But as soon as I started mixing some colors and painting, I was glad I’d done it.

It may not look like much (and it really doesn’t), but the simple act of moving the brush over the page made me feel happier than I had before I started.  It’s worth doing!

And it should look better tomorrow when I add some ink and details.

(The paint was still wet when I snapped this photo. Can you tell what it is?)

I snapped a few photos of Pippin today, too—both right after finishing with the paint and earlier in the day, when Pippin was relaxing on the couch with Donald.

...a pampered pooch...
...feeling schnoozy...

This perspective (in the photo below) cracks me up!

Because some of photos I took this evening were motion photos, I was able to get very short gifs from them:

...wiggle waggle, (not so) little ears...
...played back and forth, this looks like a 'need to tinkle' dance...
...cutie-pie puppy...

Welcome!

I’m Michael (a female Michael, to remove any doubt).  I live on the Alabama Gulf Coast with my husband, Donald, and our crazy American Eskimo Dogs.

I love to fill my spare time with various crafts and other hobbies, and this blog is where I share photos, record my progress, and ramble endlessly.
